The high-end wine from Domaine de la Fruitière is called “M” to show the attachment of the property to the Melon de Bourgogne grape variety and the Muscadet appellation it corresponds to. Thanks to the specific selection of grapes and its 3-year old on lees ageing, this wine is incomparably rich, and definitely unique.

This wine is the result of the tradition and know-how of LIEUBEAU Vigneron. It comes from a selection of old vines grapes, and is aged on lees in oak barrels.

Méthode Traditionnelle La Placelière
This wine, considered as a tradition of the Loire Valley, is a blend of three noble grape varieties from the property: Chardonnay, Folle Blanche and Cabernet Franc. It is only produced for the best vintages. Its fine bubbles and elegance come from a long 3-year re-fermentation in bottles.

This very limited Cuvee is produced from the oldest vines of the Domaine. The hand harvest is made overriped at the highest maturity of the grapes in order to bring it sweet and smooth. After a slow winter fermentation, the wine is aged partly in new oak barrels.
